CompForm

CompForm is a pre-forming process that uses low energy curing, thermoset binders to stabilize reinforcing materials in three-dimensional shapes for use in Liquid Composites Molding processing.  It has the unique capability to enable pre-forms to be produced using any reinforcing materials.  With fiberglass materials, typically a light curing binder is used while with carbon fiber type materials an anaerobic curing binder is used.  There is typically no heat used in making pre-forms using the CompForm process.  Pre-forms can be made as near net shape or net shape depending on the molding process and application demands.
